High life in Chi-town

Tom, mary and I took a walk through the stepsister of the posh north shore Chicago suburbs, Evanston, fun, urban, a bit edgy.  It was a dry temperate town until 1990, even with northwesten Uni there!

We passed up the fave sushi restaurant to walk the streets and indulge Tom's passion for hot cars, and also indulge in a real life Chicago jazz and blues steakhouse.

Dr Rubino's homemade cab was nice as an aperitif, a bit sweet, but sweet in a different sense, too.

Homemade wine requires homemade anise doughnuts.

Taking crazy Robert out in quiet Evanston

This is how one crosses the street in Evanston, waving a red flag

Jazz was loud but soulful

We're loving our white wine flights, Classic Caesars, grilled tuna steaks.  Amazing ambience, food, and service

Let's take the subway home!!
