Sometimes the best tech is from the 17th century
On Day two Serengeti, I followed my notes to retrieve my transitions bifocals from my luggage. Necessity and economy in the African bush have forced me to learn to operate naturally with bifocals, which have always made me queasy, but now seem natural. They are so smart, allowing me to read in light or dark, and protect my eyes in bright sunshine. Since I don't have to constantly pack my pairs away and swap to another, it relieves anxiety over losing it damaging my glasses.
