What's the first thing you'd do in Athens, Greece

Parthenon?
Poisidon's Temple?
Metzes?

Here's what I do:

I Arrived at the airport at 430p, had already arranged an excellent taxi driver to the city, Demitrious.  He quizzed me on Greek.  Amazing to have a captive native.  Not sure my brain was still working after 32 hours on the road.  But I got it and remember it.  I discovers I can read, too! (From Russian)

Arrived at hotel 530pm.  Respacked second bag so it's all souvenir stuff that can be shipped to Sydney.  Consolidated receipts into Sydney bag.  It's pretty heavy now!

(Note to self: just bring it, never unpack it in Miami and Chicago leave it in friends' cars..  Hmm. Saves me $150)

Arranged meeting spot for hydra tour with Ilian fit Saturday and confirmed with tour on the phone.

Did all of my laundry.  Feels like home now, orderly and I have dish pan had da. At 8pm, this is my time to lie back and blog for ten min then walking to acropolis view.

Ok, this is so mundane, but I try to stay disciplined to sort everything out on arrival so I can just relax.  I even booked my brekkie box for final morning and taxi driver from today!

Tour sorted
Suitcases sorted

Pajamas I wear on plane

Bed is calling, now hour 33 of travel.

It's so dry here, tacky laundry display will dry in no time

Oops!  Hotel has to go through other guests' window to retrieve my shirt which must have blown off my balcony.
