The Real fish-and-veg of Zanzibar

Ghostly squid in fish market look like the three witches in Macbeth.

The fish hall has Revolting smell.  It was Not all fun and games!  I got through my not breathing.

The town markets like anywhere 

Ladies carry a drum of cooking oil home on their heads.  It could end up like a scene from I Love Lucy: "Ricky, I swam in our oil for the month, waaaaah!"

Zanzibar cuisine does not use enough coconut, like in yummy Thai, across the Indian Ocean.

Spice islands

Cassavas, great alternative to potatoes, but been eating way too many of both and getting a roll of fat around my middle
